Microsoft 365 License Assignments

Assigned Microsoft 365 Licensing is based on role first, and manager approval second. This is critical for appropriately billing each location. Unless otherwise stated, please use the below licensing assignments.

Some roles will fall under multiple categories - please consider these as alternatives if the necessary licenses for the previous category are not available.

If licenses are not available, please email AJ Hall (ahall@germain.com) and more licenses will be provisioned.

Microsoft 365 E3 - (No Limit) and

Defender for Office 365 (Plan 1)

applies to:

Reference Business Premium and Business Standard Bundle staff list. If they are both unavailable, substitute this bundle of licenses.

Microsoft 365 Business Premium - (Limit of 300)

applies to:

General Managers
General Sales Managers
Sales Managers
Service Managers
Parts Managers
F&I Managers
Business Office Staff

Office Managers/Controllers
Accounting
Warranty Admin
Title Clerks
Payroll Admins

Service Advisors

Microsoft 365 Business Standard - (Limit of 300) and

Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 (No Limit) and

Exchange Online Archiving for Exchange Online (No Limit) and

Defender for Office 365 (Plan 1)

These are combination licenses - they must be applied together.

These are combination licenses - they must be applied together. This license combination requires Unchecking of specific applications during assignment in order to apply successfully.
