Mitel Connect Install Instructions
For any employee using a windows computer, here’s the desktop app install instructions for our phone system. This makes managing calls and voicemails much easier. Please share this with your teams. This desktop application is only usable while on the company network.
Ohio & Michigan
For the Mitel Connect Client install, please go to: http://10.198.201.10/ShorewareResources/ClientInstall/
Florida
For the Mitel Connect Client install, please go to: http://172.30.200.10/ShorewareResources/ClientInstall/
- Click “Download Connect for Windows"
- Open the Downloaded File
- Use the Default Options for the Install Window
- Once installed, your username will be your extension and your temporary password is “changeme"
- If the connect client asks for the server, please use: 10.198.201.10
To assign your extension physically to a Mitel/Shoretel 480g phone
- Press the "Options" button
- Press "Assign"
- Enter your Extension and voicemail password
- Press "OK"
This will assign your extension to the phone. After a few days, it will revert back to the "home" phone, so please be advised it is not a permanent assignment.
