Department Mapping

Department mapping can be found in PostalMate by choosing Tools > PostalMate Settings. Select Departments & Products and click on the Map button.

Shipping tab

The Shipping tab is for mapping Carrier Services, Insurance and Labor charges to departments. You may use the Select All button -or- select multiple rows to map specific carriers to specific departments.

Note: By default, all shipping charges are mapped to "Shipping". If you wish to break out to individual departments, go back to the previous screen and Add a department for each carrier. Then come back to the Map to Departments screen and map the carrier services to the new department name.

Products tab

The Products tab is for mapping products to departments. Here you can easily check or change which department specific products are mapped to.

Register Activities tab

The Register Activities tab is for mapping specific types of register activities.
