Lightshot Screen Shot Software

This is a great FREE screenshot software that allows you to annotate screen shots on the fly - much better than microsoft's built in snipping tool

Create a hot key for easy capture:

1. With the software installed and running
2. Right-click the feather icon in the tray (above the clock) to display the options
3. Find the hotkeys section
4. Add a check next to General Hotkey
5. In the text box next to the hotkey selection, enter a series of memorable but uncommon keystrokes (CTRL + Shift + A or CTRL + Shift + L work well)
   
6. Once you've selected the area you want to screenshot, Lightshot will present you with tools you can use to mark up the image and then to copy it so you can paste it directly into Slack, a document or elsewhere.

Printing From Lightshot

1. Grab your screen shot
2. Select the Printer button
   
3. Select the appropriate printer from the printer list
