Sydney's Mom's Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies 🍪
Some background on these not oatmeal raisin cookies—Sydney's mom was told that this was a secret recipe when it was given to her by a friend's mom in the 80s. She held it close to the chest for years, until a few years ago, that same friend heard her refuse to share it at a party, saying that "it wasn't her family recipe to share." She then laughed at Sydney's mom and explained that her mom had been joking 30+ years ago. Apparently this recipe came from the back of a chocolate chip package.
