Creating Contacts & Managing Signatory
As of November 2023, consultants can manage access to the portal and set up their organization's primary signatory. In the portal, the term "request" is used to specify a contract or scope of work.
Contacts and Contract Contacts
Each contract in the portal may have different contacts. At a minimum, you must have one person who plays the following roles:
- Request Roles:
- Primary Contact - is the person who is primarily contacted regarding the work.
- Primary Signatory - is the person who signs any agreements regarding this specific scope of work.
- Bank Info - is the person allowed to set up banking information for this contract.
- Organization Roles:
- Organization Primary Signatory - is the person who signs agreements on behalf of the organization.
Request Roles: Setting up Contacts
- Navigate to the REQUESTS Tab and locate your request or contract by status. Click on the hyperlinked number.
- Expand the menu on the request to see Add Contacts or Edit Roles.
- You will see a set of instructions and are able to either Add New Contact or Update the Roles of people affiliated with your organization.
- To select roles, click into the boxes for Role, Primary Signatory, and Bank Info. Click Update Roles.
Organization Roles: Organization Primary Signatory
Every organization has a single person as their Primary Signatory. You can update this on the Home Page under Your Next Steps.
- Click Update Primary Signatory
- Select the organization you are updating. In this case there is only one option. Click Next.
- Select the contact you set up earlier. Click Next.
- Review confirmation page. Click Finish.
