(WITH VISUALS) Getting Started with the SA Youth Partner Network
Joining the SA Youth Partner Network means being part of solving youth unemployment in South Africa. It gives partners, like you, the opportunity to access entry level talent for employment, learning, or volunteering opportunities through uploading opportunities or a database of work-seeker details that are on your network already.
To get you started, we've put together a simple 6 step process for you to follow to help guide you with getting your organisation's profile set up on the SA Youth Partner Network. If you need additional support along the way, please email us at info@sayouth.org.za
6 steps to set up your organisation's profile
Step 1: Go to https://partners.sayouth.org.za/
You'll see the following screen:

Step 2: Click the "Join the Partner Network" button
After clicking the "Join the Partner Network" button, you'll see the first screen of the registration process which prompts you to fill out your Organisation details:
When you get to the field called * Unique URL name that looks like this:
This is simply what will be added after the sayouth.mobi URL to tag your organisation. This makes it easier for us to help you track when young people engage with the opportunities you make available. Your task is to simply fill in the word(s) that will appear after forward slash as illustrated below in the highlighted yellow:
e.g. sayouth.mobi/organisation-name/opportunity-x
Helpful tip: You cannot use spaces to separate words, so it's suggested to use a hyphen to do this.
Fill out the rest form with your organisation details, and don't forget to Read the Ts & Cs and accept them at the bottom of the form:
Select the "Next" button, and continue to the following step.
Step 3: Choose your organisation contact person and create your own profile
After selecting "Next" from the precious screen, you'll see this screen:
Fill in the details of your organisation Contact person and create your own personal Profile. Don't forget to accept the Ts & Cs at the bottom of the form:
Select the "Next" button, and continue to the final step.
Step 4: Verify your email
After selecting "Next" from the precious screen, you'll see this screen:
You will be prompted to verify your email address that you've specified during the registration process. Go to your email inbox, and wait for this email to appear:
Please note, the email might take up to 2 mins to arrive in your inbox. Please be patient. Check your junk inbox in case you can't see it. If you don't get the email after 5 mins, please contact info@sayouth.org.za for help.
Select the "Verify email" button, and you'll be prompted to the Log in screen.
Step 5: Logging in
After selecting "Verify email" from your email inbox, you'll see this screen:
Enter the log in details that you've just created during the registration process and select the "Log-in" button. After that, you'll see the following Two factor authentication verification screen:
This prompts you to go back to your email inbox to copy OTP that was sent to you:
Please note, the email might take up to 2 mins to arrive in your inbox. Please be patient. Check your junk inbox in case you can't see it. If you don't get the email after 5 mins, please contact info@sayouth.org.za for help.
After copying the OTP from your email inbox, return back to the Two factor authentication screen and paste it into the Code field as follows:
Select the "Verify Code" button and this will conclude your registration process.
Each time to you log in to SA Youth Partner Network, you'll get a new OTP in your email inbox. Remember the above step for when you return.
Step 6: You've successfully created your profile
After selecting "Verify Code" from the Two factor authentication screen above, you'll see this screen which indicates that you've successfully registered and logged into your profile:
This is the first screen of the onboarding process that will help you orientate and navigate the SA Youth Partner Network portal. You're welcome to explore and discover the features that will help you connect young South Africans to learning and earning opportunities.
At this stage, please email or call your Harambee point of contact or email info@sayouth.org.za to tell us that you've successfully managed to create a profile. We will help you get started on the portal with either loading work-seeker lists in your network or opportunities you might have for young South African work-seekers.
