How to Set Up a Student iPad
While most students should be able to complete this process themselves or with the help of a teacher, below are the steps that should be followed if you are setting up an iPad for a student
Before you begin
- You will need the students 800# and password

- Select English, then United States on the first two screens
- If prompted, choose Default and Continue on the Appearance screen
- Select Device Setup on the Choose a WiFi network screen.
- Tap Enroll This iPad on the Remote Management Screen
- Enter your 800# and password when prompted and your password
- After entering the 800# and password, you may see the Configuring iPad screen for several minutes.
When you are prompted to Sign in with Apple Account, tap on Forgot Password or don't have an account?
You will sign in to the Apple Account after enrollment is completed
- Tap on Enable Location Services
- You will be taken to the iPad home screen. Locate and Open the Settings app
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Once the EASD network appears in the My Networks sections, tap on it to connect
- Once the blue check appears next to EASD, you have successfully connected.
- Next, tap on Apple Account in the upper left of the Settings app, and tap on Sign in Manually
- When prompted for your Apple Account, use your 800# followed by @gomounts.org, tap Continue
- When you see the Ephrata branded sign in page, enter your password. On the following screen you can tap Yes to stay signed in
Once the signing in animation completes, the iPad is successfully set up
