🧭 Container Explorer
🎉 What's new?
Container Explorer is a new downloadable table of container-specific data that will make it quicker and easier to find container information. It will save your customers time and reduce reliance on CargoWise container reports because they will be able to access this data directly in Logixboard, on demand.
This eliminates the need to manually compile container reporting, which will save your internal teams time as well.
With Container Explorer, your customers will have more detailed, real-time visibility into specific containers, helping them avoid expensive demurrage and detention charges.
💥 BONUS! Automated Container Tracking (ACT) Visibility
What’s even better about this release is that Container Explorer will clearly show Automated Container Tracking (ACT) data for those containers that have it!
Automated Container Tracking (ACT) is a live data feed from carriers and port terminals that we pull into Logixboard for you, eliminating the need for your operators to go hunt down and enter this data manually. This data is visible in Shipment Details and Shipment Explorer, but these pages within Logixboard are shipment-centric.
Container Explorer will now show a container-centric experience so that all of that enriched data we add for containers will be clearly visible for your customers, allowing them to build tables based on containers, and clearly see all container related data in one place.

For most customers, the Shipments tab is a standalone tab pointing to Shipment Explorer.
Once Container Explorer is live, you’ll then see the Shipments tab will have a dropdown menu allowing you two options:
International
Containers
International brings you to the Shipment Explorer, and Containers will bring you to the Container Explorer.
From there, you will have access to the Container Explorer! It looks like this:

Yes, search for the shipment and the table will show you all 20 containers related to that shipment. Why do I sometimes see 'multiple' in a container row?
For LCL or Buyer's Consolidations, there may be multiple shipments packed into a single container. When this happens, we'll aggregate data across those shipments and if >1 value is returned for a given field (e.g., house bill, shipment ID), the UI will show 'Multiple.' Clicking on the link will provide the full list of shipments associated with that container. Note that your clients will only ever see information related to their shipments and containers, so if 2 customers are sharing a single container with 1 shipment each, neither client would see 'Multiple' in their view - they would simply see the one shipment associated with them.Is there another way to get to Container Explorer?
