You and your customers will be able to quickly see new exceptions and reminders related to bookings, further streamlining the pre-shipment process directly from your digital platform.

You can now ensure that your customers donโ€™t miss approving a booking option before a rate expires, helping them send off their cargo in time.


๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ What Exceptions & Reminders Are Being Added?

Exceptions & Reminders Your Customer Will See

  • (Reminder) Offered rate is close to expiring: When the rate expiration date is coming up, a reminder will be displayed to your customer.

  • (Exception) Offered rate has expired: When the current date is past the rate expiration date for the booking option, a notification will be displayed to your customer

  • (Exception) Cargo at risk of missing planned departure: When the cargo ready date of an approved booking option is after the planned ETD a notification will be displayed to your customer.

Exceptions & Reminders You And Your Operators Will See

  • Your operators will only see exceptions. They wonโ€™t see the reminders about rates nearing expiration.

  • (Exception) Offered rate has expired: When the current date is past the rate expiration date for the booking option, a notification will be displayed to your customer.

  • (Exception) Cargo at risk of missing planned departure: When the cargo ready date of an approved booking option is after the planned ETD a notification will be displayed to your customer.

Exceptions and Reminders In The Bookings Explorer Page

  • For your customers, both exceptions and reminders will appear in the table within the Bookings explorer page, so they can quickly and easily identify bookings with potential issues.

  • Your operators will only see the exceptions column, not the reminders.

  1. What happens when there are multiple bookings options created? Will there be an exception and a reminder for each one?
    No. Only one exception and reminder per set of bookings will be displayed.
    For example, if the booking has 3 options, and for two of those options the rate expiration date has passed, only 1 exception will be displayed.

  2. When will the "offered rate is close to expiring" reminder be sent?
    The reminder will be sent 1 day prior to rate expiration date.
