Verification Checklist

When verifying a Guru card, always check these 5 things:

  1. Is the verifier correct?
Should I be the sole verifier of this card, or should would it be better to share the responsibility with a group I'm in?
Is someone else on my team now the expert on this topic?
  2. Is the verification interval correct?
Did anything change from the last time I verified this card? If not, make the verification interval longer
Have a lot of things changed since the last time I verified this card? If so, make the verification interval shorter
  3. Is the Card Title succinct yet accurate and descriptive?
Title matching helps surface knowledge fast, and generally shortens the time it takes to find knowledge. Try to ensure your title won't confuse a new hire, or make a user wonder whether this is the right card as they're scanning through their search results page. Ensuring accuracy of titles is a powerful means of improving the search experience in Guru!
  4. Are people viewing this card?
Click into the Details tab of the card to check the views. If no one's viewing this card, consider sending a Announcement or archiving it.
  5. Is all the information in here accurate?
Check to make sure that you're using the most up-to-date language for all processes and products.
Check that it's on the right Folders and has the right tags so that team members can find it easily.
  6. Are there any comments I need to resolve?
You should get a notification every time someone comments on a card, but it's good to check here. You can delete any comments that are no longer valid.

You must have Author or Collection Owner permission to create Guru Cards. Contact your team's Guru admins to use this template.
