🚩 The sender address is not a valid or official email address.
🚩 The message is not addressed to you specifically, may include other email addresses, or not show a "To: ___" email address at all.
🚩 The use of UPS color scheme but it is not a verified UPS message. Familiar brand colors, fonts, or logos are often used to try to instill confidence or faith in the sender.
🚩 The subject line has incorrect punctuation and mentions 'final notice' as if they have contacted you before.
🚩 The email is from a company claiming to be a shipping company, not the original vendor of your supposed package. If there are issues with shipping costs, these issues would be resolved through the vendor, not the third party shipping company.
🚩 The email gives you a short turnaround time (48 hours), which is designed to make you act quickly without considering the validity of the message.
🚩 You are prompted to go to a separate page to make a payment without any explanation of cost.
