Change In-Transit Parking Amount
Review Qualified Transportation Expense Plan for information on transit benefits, including Parking and Mass Transit.
- Click the Global Navigation Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Click the Benefits icon
- Select “Benefits” in the Change column
- Under Change Reason, select Change in Transit/Parking Amount from the dropdown menu.
Read the Help Text instructions toward the right carefully! - Choose a Benefit Event Date, add attachments you’d like and click Submit.
- Click Let’s Get Started to continue.
Please note: If you would like to complete this task at a later time, it can be accessed from your MyDay Inbox. - Under Additional Benefits, you have the option to Enroll.
- Once you've selected either "Parking" or "Transit," you will be taken to the Plans Available screen where you can elect to Select a Plan or Waive. Once you are done, click Confirm and Continue. Once you Confirm and Continue, you will be taken to the Contribute screen.
Again, please read the Help Text Carefully. - Enter the Dollar Amount that you would like to contribute per paycheck to the QTE plan.
Note: Transit deductions are made only for the first two paychecks of the month. In months when there are three paychecks, transit is not deducted from the third paycheck. - You will receive a popup notification that your changes were updated, however, you are not finished with the event. You have to Review and Sign in order to finalize the changes/event.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Change in Transit/Parking Amount screen and select Review and Sign if you wish to finalize your changes.
- You will be taken to a Summary page to review the benefit elections. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, review the Electronic Signature and click the "I Accept" checkbox, then Submit. Once you've reached the Submitted screen, you are done. You can select View Benefits Statement if you'd like to print a copy of the confirmation for your records.
