Print back client requirements and responsibilities
Objectives:
The AllianceHCM print back feature requires each client to print all live checks generated each payroll cycle. This includes, but isn't limited to, payroll checks and agency checks (such as for child support agencies and garnishments).

A description of your client responsibilities if your company uses the AllianceHCM print back feature, as well as exclusions and considerations for year-end tax documents.
💡Good to know: The print back feature is an "all or none" payroll setting and applies to all live checks. It cannot be customized to exclude specific types of checks (e.g., payroll checks or agency checks) and does not affect tax documents (e.g., Forms W-2 and 1099).

By enabling the print back feature, you agree to the following responsibilities:
- Use of Client Payroll Account: Each client must use their own payroll account for all check disbursements. The print back feature will not apply if a client is using AllianceHCM's trust account.
- Printing Live Checks: Clients are responsible for printing all live checks, including agency checks, each payroll cycle.
- Disbursement of Garnishment Payments: Garnishment payments that cannot be processed via ACH payments must be printed by client and distributed to the respective agencies or recipients.
- Timely Processing: Clients are responsible for ensuring all printed checks are processed and distributed promptly to avoid any payment delays or compliance issues.

- Garnishments processed via ACH are excluded from the print back feature because most child support agencies have ACH information on file.
- Any adjustments or exceptions to the print back feature are not available for specific check types.
year-end tax documents
Get in touch with your CSR to confirm whether your print back feature affects the way your company's Form W-2s/Form 1099s are printed. AllianceHCM can push all of your W-2s/1099s out electronically so your employees have full access to their tax documents in MyPay, which saves you any postage and FedEx fees. If you decide to share tax documents electronically, then you only incur processing fees.
