Endicia Label Server Setup

E​stablish A New Endicia Postage Account

  1. Use this link to o​pen your Endicia Account: Endicia - Registration
  2. A​dd funds to your Endicia account.
  3. M​ake sure to save your Endicia Password and Account ID. You will need this information in order to set up the Endicia Label Server (ELS) in PostalMate.

S​etting up Endicia in PostalMate
(Complete the following steps on your main PostalMate station)

  • Select Tools > PostalMate Settings.
  • Choose Carrier Setup on the left pane.
  • Select the USPS tab.
  • B​elow Online shipping interface choose Endicia Settings.

  • Select the Account tab and enter your Account ID and Password.
  • C​lick Update Status.

  • C​hoose the Options tab.
  • Select the options based on your preferences.

Remember to deselect "Test mode" when you are ready to begin shipping with real postage.

  • S​tealth (hidden) postage: This option will remove wholesale postage amount from packages and letters. A stealth Endicia can be used on Express Mail, and all mail with electronic Delivery or Signature Confirmation, including: Priority Mail and Ground Advantage services. It is not available on First Class letters or non‑tracked International Mail.
  • E​ndicia Insurance: This is an alternate insurance program offered by Endicia for USPS. You must sign up with Endicia to participate in this program.
  • W​aive Signature: Selecting this option will waive the signature requirement for domestic Express Mail.
  • U​se Customer as return address: Select this option if you want the return address on packages to be that of your customer rather than your store.
  • U​SPS Tracking pre-selected: When free (recommended) will add tracking any time there is no charge for the service.

Postage buying: Choose from the three available options. Auto will purchase postage when needed. Prompt will ask you if you wish to purchase postage. Manual will require you to purchase postage on your own when desired. Enter the default amount of postage you wish to purchase each time.

Click OK to save your settings.
