2.1 QMC-Choose password generation method


QMC-Password Security Settings, you can choose the password generation method of "Create Member":

  • Administrator Sets Password: The QMC administrator sets the initial password for creating members, which takes effect for the entire environment. The initial password for created members will be the same.
  • Automatically Generate Password: The password is generated by the system, and the initial password for each account in the workspace will be different.
  • Set When Logging in for the First Time: This password generation method can only be used when the email service is configured in this environment. If you choose to set a password when logging in for the first time, after creating a member, the member's email will receive a link to set a password.

2.2 Workspace-Create members


In Anffy, there are 2 ways to do so.

Click "Create New Member," and a pop-up window will appear. You need to enter the email address (required) and name (optional) of the new member. It can be created in batches.

If you choose different password generation methods in QMC, the password rules after creating a member will also be different:

  • If the "Administrator Sets Password" method is selected in QMC, then when the administrator of the workspace creates a member, the account and password file created this time will be automatically downloaded to the local. At the same time, if the environment is configured with an email service, the created email address will receive a password notification email.
  • If the "Automatically Generate Password" method is selected in QMC, then when the administrator of the workspace creates a member, the created account and password files will be automatically downloaded to the local. At the same time, if the environment is configured with an email service, the created email address will receive a password notification email.
  • If the "Set on First Login" method is selected in QMC, then when the administrator of the workspace creates a member, the created mailbox will receive a link to set a password.

2.3 Workspace-Invite Members

Click "Invite Members," and a pop-up window will appear. You can choose "Search to Add" or "Batch Invite."

For the batch invitation method, you need to download the invitation template, fill in the list of people who need to be invited in batches, and then upload it to the system.

3 Noted

  • Inviting members can add existing accounts in this environment to this workspace. If you invite an account that does not yet exist, the system will prompt you to use the "Create New Member" function.
  • Create a member to create a new account in this environment and add this account to this workspace. If you create an existing account, the system will prompt that the account already exists.
