CON: Farelogix Schedule Change Even Exchange (Lufthansa Group)

LH group requires files to be actioned within 14 days of notification, and they also require us to add an OSI when the passenger is definitely traveling, so for every exchange, we will need to add the following OSI: OSI YY PAX DEF TRVLG. The airline will also add in SSR messages which will be important to read.


Process

Step 1: Search for flights

Step 2: Look for flights and click on Air Availability

Step 3: Select desired flights on the required COS (class of service) and click on the shopping cart to add to the
availability

Step 4: Create fare
To create your new fare, you will need to start by selecting the ticket number for the passenger. In Farelogix
you can drag and drop the Fare basis information to avoid having to manually type in the values.

Step 5: Store fare
Hover the mouse over the original ticket information and then Drag and Drop to the new itinerary

Make sure to fill in all the areas in the red boxes. The reason needs to be changed to REISSUE and when everything is filled in, click on SUBMIT

Step 6 : Exchange the ticket
Now that you’ve stored your new information, you can proceed to exchange the ticket.
Head over to the ETR and click on Exchange/Reissue

Step 7: Review the following details on the exchange mask:

  • Even exchange - the value should be 0.00 as there is no additional collect for even exchange
  • Endorsement - you should see your waiver code added into the Endorsement
  • Reason of Issuance - should be selected to REISSUE

Once you have verified the information, click on Submit to process the exchange.
