How to add Public Printers on Level 0-4 to work laptop (Windows).
- Open the "Control Panel"
- Click on "View Devices and Printers" under "Hardware and Sound"
- Click on "Add a printer"
- Click on "The Printer that I want isn't listed"
Select "Add a local printer on network printer with manual settings"
- Select "Create a new port" and "Local Port" under Type of port
- Enter "\\adminprint.yorku.yorku.ca\SCS-STAFF" as the port name
- If prompted, Select Ricoh driver as per the screenshots below
- Select "Use the driver that is installed (recommend)"
- Name the printer "SCS-STAFF"
- Select "Do not share the printer"
Once the printer has been added, release the print job as per Releasing the Print job from the Printer
