How to update an asset in Asset Tiger

  1. Login to Asset Tiger using your assigned username and password.

  3. From the main dashboard page, got to the left-hand panel and click on Asset, and then click on list of assets. You may also click on list of assets at the top of the page.image.png
  4. On this page you should be able to view all the assets within the database.image.png
  5. Using the search criteria button, you may set the necessary criteria to search for the asset you would like to edit.
  6. You can set various filters to complete your search by key word, site, funding locations, category, status and additional fields if necessary.
  7. Once your search is complete, hit the search asset button, you should now be viewing all the assets according to your search criteria. image.png
  8. From this page, you can choose to edit a single asset or multiple assets at once.
  9. To perform an update for multiples assets at once, check the box on the far-left side of the assets you want to update.
  10. Once you have all the desired assets selected, Click the Mass Update button at the top of the screen.image.png
  11. You may then begin to choose all the data fields you want to update for the selected assets.
  12. Once you have them all selected click the Next Step. image.png
  13. You may now add the updated information to the assets selected.
  14. Then click Verify.image.png
  15. On the next page, verify that the changes are correct and click Update.
  16. You should then receive an alert message at the top of the screen confirming that the update has been completed.
  17. To make edits for a single asset, you should go back to your correct list of assets for the asset you would like to edit.
  18. Select it and click view. image.png
  19. You should now be on the Asset View page for your specific asset.
  20. You may also select the Edit Asset button to make any data changes for that asset on this page.
  21. You may edit the information pertaining to the location, the asset itself, or the purchases details for that asset. image.pngimage.pngimage.png
  22. Once your editing is complete, review the information and click the Submit button to save your edits. image.png
  23. You will now be able to review all the updated information that was made for that asset.
  24. To return to your list of assets, click the List of Assets button at the top of the page.
  25. As a review you should now be able to edit an asset in Asset Tiger.
