Navigating Patient Overview

Welcome to the GoRev Navigating Patient Overview Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of Navigating the Patient Overview Module in GoRev.

1 : Navigating to the Patient Overview Module

In order to navigate to the Patient Overview Module, first, begin by entering the required Patient’s Name, Account Number, or Social Security Number into the corresponding field in the Search area of the GoRev Homepage.image.png

As you are entering this information, existing Patient Accounts will appear below the field that you are filling. Once you locate the correct Patient Account, please use the arrow keys to highlight this Patient Account and hit “Enter” on your keyboard.

2 : Five Major Sections of the Patient Overview Module

At this point, the Patient Overview Module for the selected Patient will appear on your screen. The Patient Overview Module is made up of five major sections, which are titled “Demographics”, “Contacts”, “Visit”, “Insurance”, and “Worker's Compensation”.

3 : Navigating to the Demographics Section

In order to navigate to the first section of the Patient Overview Module, titled Demographics, please click on the Demographics Icon located in the Navigation Toolbar.

4 : 2 Sub-Sections of the Demographics Area

At this point, the Demographics section of the Patient Overview Module will appear on your device. The Demographics section contains the Patient’s Demographic and Guarantor information.

5 : Navigating to the Patient Sub-Section

Now, in order to navigate to the Patient’s Demographic Information, please click on the Patient tab in this section.

6 : Content of the Patient Sub-Section

At this point, the Patient sub-section will appear on your screen. The Patient tab contains the Patient’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Ethnicity, Preferred Language, Marital Status, Employment Status, Social Security Number, Primary Care Physician, Financial Status, Passport Information, and Collection Status.

7 : Editing and Saving the Entered Information

Now, in order to edit any of the information in this section, first, begin by clicking on the Edit checkbox in the Demographics section of this window.

To continue, please edit any of the information in this section that you require. Once you are finished, click on the “Save” button in the upper right corner of this area.

8 : Navigating to the Guarantor Sub-Section

After editing any information in the Patient sub-section that you require, please navigate to the Guarantor sub-section by clicking on the corresponding tab in this area.

9 : Utilizing the Guarantor Sub-Section

At this point, the Guarantor sub-section will appear on your screen. The Guarantor sub-section contains the same fields as the Patient sub-section, but the information is in relation to the Guarantor.

If the Patient is, also, the Guarantor, you may use the “Same as Patient” checkbox to auto-fill the Patient’s information into this sub-section.
image.pngAdditionally, if you would like to edit any of the information in this sub-section, please follow the process discussed earlier in this tutorial to complete this task.

10 : Navigating to the Contacts Section

In addition to the Demographics section, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a section titled Contacts. Now, in order to navigate to this section, please click on the Contacts icon in the Navigation Toolbar.

11 : Sub-Sections of the Contacts Area

At this point, the Contacts section of the Patient Overview Module will appear on your device. The Contacts section contains the Patient’s, Guarantor’s, Emergency Contact, and Employer Information.

12 : Navigating to the Patient's Contact Information

Now, in order to navigate to the Patient’s Contact Information, please click on the Patient tab in this section.

13 : Utilizing the Patient Contact Information Sub-Section

At this point, the Patient sub-section will appear on your screen. The Patient sub-section contains the Patient’s Phone Number, Email, Address, Communication Preferences, Statement Delivery Method, and Driver's License.

14 : Navigating to the Guarantor's Contact Information

After editing any of the information in the Patient sub-section that you require, please navigate to the Guarantor sub-section by clicking on the corresponding tab in this area.

15 : Utilizing the Guarantor Contact Information Sub-Section

At this point, the Guarantor sub-section will appear on your screen. The Guarantor sub-section contains the same fields as the Patient sub-section, but the information is in relation to the Guarantor.

16 : Navigating to the Emergency Sub-Section

Next, please navigate to the Emergency sub-section by clicking on the corresponding tab in the Contacts area.

17 : Utilizing the Emergency Sub-Section

At this point, the Emergency sub-section will appear on your device. The Emergency sub-section contains the Name, Email Address, and Phone Number for the Patient’s Emergency Contact.
image.pngIf you need to edit any of the information in this sub-section, please follow the process discussed above to edit and save any of the information that you require.

18 : Navigating to the Employer Sub-Section

Next, please navigate to the Employer sub-section by clicking on the corresponding tab in the Contacts area.image.png

19 : Utilizing the Employer Sub-Section

At this point, the Employer sub-section will appear on your device. The Employer sub-section contains the Name, Address, Phone Number, Occupation, and Email Address for the Patient’s Employer.image.pngIf you need to edit any of this information, please follow the process discussed earlier in this tutorial to complete this task.

20 : Navigating to the Visit Section

In addition to the Contacts section, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a section titled Visit. Now, in order to navigate to this section, please click on the Visit icon in the Navigation Toolbar.

21 : Utilizing the Visit Section

At this point, the Visit section of the Patient Overview Module will appear on your screen. The Visit section contains the Patient’s Visit Information for the Selected Date of Service.

In the event that you need to change the Visit information being displayed, please begin by clicking on the Selected Visit drop-down menu in this section.

After the Selected Visit drop-down menu becomes visible, please select the Visit Date that you require from this menu.

22 : Navigating to the Insurance Section

In addition to the Visit section, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a section titled Insurance. Now, in order to navigate to this section, please click on the Insurance icon in the Navigation Toolbar.

23 : Utilizing the Insurance Section

At this point, the Insurance section of the Patient Overview Module, which contains the Patient’s Insurance Information will appear on your device. If you need to Add an Insurance Policy to the Patient’s Account, please use the New button in this section to make the necessary additions.

24 : Navigating to the Worker's Compensation Section

Lastly, in addition to the Insurance section, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a section titled Worker's Compensation. In order to navigate to this section, please click on the Worker's Compensation icon in the Navigation Toolbar.

25 : Content of the Worker's Compensation Section

At this point, the Worker's Compensation section will appear on your screen. The Worker's Compensation section is comprised of two sub-sections, which are titled Case Information and Adjudicator Information.

26 : Navigating to the Case Information Sub-Section

Now, in order to navigate to the Case Information sub-section, please click on the corresponding tab in this area.

27 : Utilizing the Case Information Sub-Section

At this point, the Case Information sub-section will appear on your device. The Case Information sub-section contains the Name of the Patient’s Employer, Case Number, Date of Injury, Address of Employment, and the Employer’s Contact Information.

28 : Navigating to the Adjudicator Sub-Section

Next, please navigate to the Adjudicator sub-section by clicking on the corresponding tab in the Worker's Compensation area.

29 : Navigating to the Insurance Section

At this point, the Adjudicator Information sub-section, which contains the Adjudicator’s Name and Contact Information, will appear on your screen.
image.pngNow, please edit and save any of the entered information in this area that you require.

30 : Locating and Utilizing the File Management Area

In addition to the five major sections, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a File Management section, which will allow you to Retrieve, Remove, Upload, and Scan Patient Files.

31 : Locating and Utilizing the Notes Area

Also, the Patient Overview Module contains a Notes area, which will allow you to notate a Patient’s Account.

32 : Locating and Understanding the Patient Balance Area

Lastly, the Patient Overview Module, also, contains a Patient Balance area, which is on the right side of the Navigation Toolbar. If the Patient doesn’t have an outstanding balance, the Patient Balance will be green.

Conversely, in the event that the Patient does have an outstanding balance, the Patient Balance will appear red.
