Logging Into Guru

Overview: Guru is a knowledge management software that houses all of The New School's institutional knowledge—including MyDay training documentation—in one reliable, human-verified hub!

To login to Guru, you must use Single Sign On (SSO) using your TNS email address via Google.

Logging into Guru for the First Time

  1. Click through the registration email sent to your New School inbox via notify@getguru.com
  2. Login using your SSO credentials
  3. Complete multi-factor authentication via DUO
  4. Fill out a brief Guru registration form:

NOTE: The selections you make will not impact your account or system access.

Navigating Guru after Initial Login

  1. Sign into your TNS Email address via Gmail, then visit https://app.getguru.com/signin to access Guru and click the Sign In with Google button.
NOTE: If you are not currently logged into your Google account, follow the prompts to use your NetID and your password, then follow the DUO prompts to log in.

  1. When the Sign in with Google button generates a pop-up window asking you to select an account to use to login, select the account issued to you from TNS.
  2. Allow Google permission to log into Guru using your New School Google credentials.
