Coupon Codes
Welcome to the GoRev Coupon Code setup tutorial. This guide will detail the coupon code setup process as well as the common configurations you can change as a client. In order to utilize this system you will need to contact ask@gorev.com or submit a ticket to fully implement this system on your server.
1: Configuring Coupon Codes
As a GoRev Client, you will have the ability to configure Coupon Codes to provide a discount to patients at specific locations and for certain dollar or discount percentages.
The coupon code module is located In the Admin, Configurations, Coupons drop down.
The Coupon Management screen will appear. All coupon codes will display in the Coupon Menu with the name, code, discount amount and type, as well as start and end dates.
2: Creating a New Coupon Code.
Selecting the New coupon button will open the Create Edit Coupon window. From this window you can set the Name of the coupon and create the Coupon Code. The code will be used by patients in the Pre-Registration process to apply the discount before payment. These codes are case, number, and space sensitive.
3: Discount Type
There are 2 types of discounts to choose from. Percent and Dollar Amount. These are both set in the Dollar Amount field.
Percent is 1-100, and is the percentage removed from the original price. Example- The standard price for a test is $100. Setting the discount percent amount to 25 will discount the price 25%, making the new price on the test $75.
Dollar Amount is subtracted from the original price.
4: Applying the Coupon to Locations
Applying the coupon to the location is as simple as selecting the location by checking the checkbox to the left of the location name.
5: Setting Coupon Start and End Dates
Use the start and end date drop downs to pick a date range when the coupon can be used.
6: Create the Coupon
The last step is to create the coupon. This is done by clicking the Create Coupon button in the lower right hand corner of the Create/Edit Coupon window.
