Resetting User Internet Password or Restore Original Pin

Objective: If a customer is requesting that they have their password reset or restored back to the original pin in order to log back into their online payment account.

Path: Utility Billing > Service Accounts > Select the Account > Select the Reset Pwd tab on the Account at a Glance Screen

At the Reset Internet Password screen, select which method to reset the password or restore back to the original pin

Options:

  • NO = Do not make any changes
  • Reset Password = This will send an email to the customer to reset their password
  • Restore Original Pin = This will allow them to sign in using their customer ID as the pin number. *** Please inform the customer that if they had any saved ACH/Credit Card Draft Information saved on their account that it will now be erased and they will need to re-register their account and ACH/Credit Card Draft information.
