Financials [Requisition]: Requisition Approval Processing (Legacy)

Step to approve requisitions:

1. From the Requisition Master Menu, select Department Processing

2. Select Approval Routing Process. This screen shows all requisition pending approval

3. Click on a requisition to approve or reject

To review the requisition and the details click on "Req Inquiry" and enter a description or note when applicable. This information will be included in the requisition history record and on the email to the end user

4. Click OK to approve or reject the requisition. A rejected requisition will still show on the Approval Routing Processing screen. The system cannot determine the exact cause of the rejection nor when it has been corrected. This will require communication to get it corrected in the system. Once it is corrected, then the requisition can be approved.

Each time a requisition is approved or rejected the user will get an email. Each approver will get an email when a requisition is ready for them to approve. When the requisition has been approved by the last approver the status goes to "Dept. Authorize" and the Buyers takes over the process. See example below.

As soon as the buyer clicks on the requisition the status is changed to "Purchasing Received" and the user will get an email. See example below.
