The New School provides free access to The New York Times online. Full access requires a user account - see New York Times Digital Subscription for instructions. Your account allows you to save articles, subscribe to email newsletters, and select authors, topics, and sections of interest.
IT Deals
IT maintains a list of technology deals available to students, faculty and staff. Examples of the discounts include:
- Adobe Creative Cloud for home use
- Microsoft Office 365 for home use
- Special education pricing on Apple products
- Savings on HP products through the HP Employee Purchase Program (staff) or HP Education Store (faculty and students)

Discounts
MoMA: Employees of The New School receive free access per MoMA visit with valid college ID at the Ticketing Desk. You may also purchase up to five $5 guest tickets for each visit.
YMCA: A 15% discount for all employees. This allows access to all the YMCA locations and to all the equipment/services they offer. Membership rate is $108, and with the discount, the monthly fee is $91.80.
Aetna Fitness Discount: Members who register for LifeMart from the member site will be able to access eligible fitness discounts, including fitness gear, nutrition, gyms and more. LifeMart also offers discounts for insurance, wireless plans, food delivery, travel, and entertainment.
PlumBenefits: PlumBenefits is an entertainment benefits provider, offering exclusive discounts, special offers, and access to preferred seating and tickets to top attractions, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets, hotels, and much more.
