  4. Follow the steps for Fly-E3-Pro-V3 installing RepRapFirmware with the Configurator or try this Firmware pack.zip.

Commands:

M122 - To Troubleshoot

Errors:

  • Error reading from serial device.
    Also:
I got to the point where the firmware was flashed and I was trying to type in my wifi credentials but it wasn't taking it. I decided to try starting over with new firmware files on the SD card but the usb cable might have been loose when I tried.
Now when I connect the Fly-E3-Pro-V3 to my computer via USB it shows up in device manager for 20 second and then I hear windows ping letting me know it disconnected, and then it immediately reconnects. Then it will keep disconnecting and reconnecting every 20seconds. I'm thinking the firmware on the board might be corrupt now but it wont let me reflash to start over.

Jay on discord:
Have you sent your wifi details using M587?
Does your network support 2.4ghz? The esp32 doesn't work with 5ghz networks
M587 returns: Failed to retrieve network list: SPI timeout
-
M552 S0
M587
Remembered networks:
SBG8300-5685 IP=0.0.0.0 GW=0.0.0.0 NM=0.0.0.0
M588 S"*" < Deletes saved network information
I changed my network name and forget, I entered the correct name and it's working now.

At Jack's house I tried to connect to new WiFi
I did:
M552 S0
M588 S"*"
M587 S"SSID" P"password"
M552 S1

(M587 can be used as a check sum to see what wifi is currently on the board)
