Markup Profiles

There is a Markup Profiles section in Compass > Distribution > Channel Explorer. Markup profiles are channel specific, so ensure that the correct channel has been selected.

Criteria is the instruments and timezones that the markup is applied to. To apply a markup to all instruments use the default criteria or create a new criteria with all instruments selected. The timezones in the criteria can be seen by clicking the arrow beside the relevant criteria as shown.

The Fees columns are the markups that will be applied to the prices shown to customers. Internal is applied to the internalisation market price, Brokering is applied to the broker pool price, and Continuity is applied to the continuity pool price. These fees are in US$/M and are stripped from the prices when orders are sent to LPs so that the markup remains as "profit" in Compass. It is recommended that Continuity fees remain higher than the others to avoid using the continuity pool for execution in place of the broker pool.

To edit a criteria or the fees, click on the arrow to the left of the criteria to reveal the timezones, then click on the cell you want to edit and make your changes. Don't forget to save once you're done but keep in mind that this config is dynamic and any changes made here will immediately come into effect without restarting any processes.
