  • Monthly Ops Review: Monthly meeting in which the Executive Team and other leaders provide status reports on the various areas of the company
  • SIS: Student Information System; LINQ products integrate with SIS to obtain student information
  • Salesforce Communities: Our solution for customer-facing support features (knowledge base, forum, chat)
  • Salesforce: Our solution for tracking sales, customer, and contract information
  • ServiceCloud: Our Salesforce solution for customer support management
  • SharePoint: Our document management system
  • Senior Leadership Team (SLT): second-level of management
  • Student to State: Our approach to product enhancements and company growth

Human Resources

  • ChartHop: interactive org chart to see where employees roll-up.
  • DISC: Personality assessment tool used for candidate assessment; new hire integration, soft skills training, team building etc. Using a website called DiscoveryReport.com
  • HR/IT Ticketing System (Halo): the self-service system for logging help tickets for HR and IT needs, as well as links to Marketing and Finance forms.
  • HR Hub: Self-service website for employees and supervisors - contains HR related information and forms
  • LINQ Academy: The name of our Learning Management System (LMS) which contains eLearning courses for both our employees and our customers – which runs on a program called Docebo
  • LINQ Cares: Our community outreach/corporate giving initiative
  • LINQ Leadership Academy: Our leadership development program
  • Paylocity: Our Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Leve​r: Our applicant tracking system
  • StrengthsFinder: Assessment tool used for identifying and leveraging one’s strengths, team building etc.

Engineering

  • Agile: Our software development framework; fast, adaptable, highly collaborative
  • SAAS: Software As A Service; our products are licensed on a subscription basis and are centrally hosted
  • SDLC: Software Delivery Life Cycle, the process through which LINQ software is developed
  • Scrum: Agile term; team collaboration; organized scrum team sprints
  • Sprint: Agile term; a set period of time during which a set of items from the backlog has to be completed and made ready for review; ours is two-weeks

Sales

  • NRR: Non-Recurring Revenue; one-time payments that may or may not happen again
  • ARR: Annual Recurring Revenue; recurring revenue you can expect, based on yearly subscriptions
  • Net ARR Retention: The sum of added and lost ARR, divided by the company’s beginning of year ARR.
  • EBITDA: Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization; used as an indicator of the overall profitability of a business
  • CAPDB: Customer and Prospect Database

  • Alio: A company acquired in 2021; refers to a desktop ERP product
  • ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning
  • ERP Cloud: Another name for LINQ ERP
  • Employee LINQ: The timekeeping product for School LINQ and LINQ ERP
  • LINQ ERP: Our future-state ERP cloud product
  • SDS: Specialized Data Systems; a company acquired in 2021; refers to a desktop ERP product
  • School Accounting: Our accounting product for school bookkeepers
  • School Finance: A company acquired in 2019; our ERP solution for Michigan.
  • School LINQ: Our legacy ERP web product
  • TimeKeeper: The timekeeping product for V6
  • V6: Our legacy ERP desktop product
  • ISIS: The previous name of V6

  • Colyar: A company acquired in 2020, whose products help state agencies manage federal and state nutrition-related programs
