Electronic Student Stipend Payment Program
Effective 11/20/2023, the university's Zelle student stipend program will be transitioning to the J.P. Morgan Concourse platform.
Students who receive stipends (prize/award payments) may elect to receive electronic payments via J.P. Morgan Concourse (JPM Concourse). Payments to students for services provided to the university are not eligible for Zelle.
As with Zelle, students may only receive payment via JPM Concourse if they have a U.S. bank account and email address. Students should contact AccountsPayableHelp@newschool.edu to discuss alternative payment methods if they do not have a domestic account.
Instructions
- Student stipend payments are coordinated through the Colleges - speak with your coordinator to request electronic payments.
- Once your request has been processed, you will receive an introductory verification email from JPM Concourse at <EMAIL>.
- Students who currently receive stipend payments via Zelle will receive their introductory email during the transition on November 20th or when the next payment is scheduled.
- Click "Accept Payment" in the email. You will be redirected to complete registration in the JPM Concourse portal.
- Follow the instructions in the Concourse User Guide below to verify your account and select payment method. Current options include Zelle, ACH, and "Push to Debit Card" (others may follow).

If you are expecting a stipend and didn't receive the introductory email from JPM Concourse, contact your College coordinator for assistance. If you are expecting and do not receive a scheduled payment, the university's Accounts Payable Department will contact you directly to arrange payment.
