This is an Assignment's Handbook...
In Product we break our jobs into smaller units of responsibility we call Assignments. We do this to provide clarity for the person doing the job (what am I being relied upon for), clarity for the person's teammates (what can I rely on this person for), as well as to encourage high quality (specific and relevant) feedback.

Outcome:
- All Pluggies agree: "I am confident that when I need to find some info about what Product has done, is doing, or is considering doing – not only can I find it, but it is answered such that I have exactly what I need"
Required Activities:
- Every week we have a PLC meeting, we are responsible for creating our squad's updates/assets for the PLC Meeting Headlines (as of 2024•Q3... shout out to Laura R for driving this forward 💪🏾)

Things you might deliver/do
- Keeping ProductBoard updated
- You will communicate changes (scope, timeline, etc) both effectively and as early as possible.
- In the rare case where we make a feature-based high-integrity commitment, both the squad and the stakeholders have a clear view of and confidence in:
- ... what value is going to be delivered
- ... who it is going to be delivered to
- ... when it is going to be delivered
- If folks go to the agreed-upon place (weekly update, roadmap, etc), they will be able to see a clear view of progress that is easy to understand by a wide range of stakeholders (every member of the CareerPlug team).
