How to find the ID ME username?
I:\CIS Team\EHR\EPCS\EPCS Provider Recovery Key and open the EPCS Provider Recovery Key. The email listed is what the ID ME username is for caregiver. Please do not change any information in the Excel sheet.
How do I update my phone number for MFA?
If there is any change in the status of your phone (for example, if you deactivate or upgrade your phone, change phone providers, change phone numbers, etc.), it can disrupt your multi-factor authentication (MFA) option(s), depending on which one you have selected.
To continue to have access to your ID.me account, you will need to update your phone number for MFA. Please see the instructions below.
To update your MFA settings:
1. Sign in to your ID.me Account. | |
2. Select the link to Update your settings here at the bottom of the screen when prompted to receive a code at the old phone number. | |
3. Select Continue when you see the screen that says “Update Multi-Factor Authentication.”Leave this browser tab open. | |
4. Check your email in a different window or new tab in your browser. Look for an email from hello@id.me with the subject “ID.me - Please confirm your email” to update multi-factor settings.You may need to check your spam and junk folders. | |
5. Open the email and select the Confirm your email button. You may also copy the 6-digit code in the email, and paste it into the ID.me sign-in screen. | |
6. Return to the ID.me sign-in screen, and follow the prompts to verify your identity information. When your identity has been verified, select Continue on the screen below. | |
7. Select your desired MFA option, enter the required information, and complete your update. For step-by-step guides on how to set up each multi-factor authentication method, please select one of the following options: |
