Tags were created to supplement the Label feature. Be sure to review Labels prior to the information below.

How Does It Work?

Assigning Tags to contacts

Option 1

  1. From your inbox, within the column Title & Tags, click on the Tag icon

  1. Create a new tag disposition or select a preexisting one
  2. Click on Update

  1. Below the conversation & Contact Info, scroll down to the Tags box
  2. Create a new tag disposition or select from a preexisting one
  3. Click on Save

Sorting by tags

Sales Connector provides a feature for users to filter conversations by assigned Tags, enabling them to see all contacts associated with a particular tag in a single browser view.

  1. From the Search Contacts bar, insert the Tag you are wanting to sort by (i.e #example)
  2. Click on the search icon

  1. From your inbox, click on a Tag that has already been added to a conversation

Tag Settings

Tags can primarily be configured from the Inbox, but Sales Connector also offers a specialized Tags section for further customization and enhanced visibility. This feature enables users to see all their Tags simultaneously and observe the number of contacts linked to each one.

  1. From the hamburger menu, click on Tags

  1. To add a Tag, click on +Add Tag
  2. To edit a Tag, click on the ORANGE icon. To delete a Tag, click on the RED icon.

Benefits & Value

Tags provide an additional method to categorize and sift through your conversations. Unlike the Labels feature, a single contact can have multiple tags associated with it.
