Completing the RSVP Submission in the PowerSchool Parent Portal
RSVP = Returning Student Verification Process
*The RSVP process confirms the accuracy of student information on file and verifies the student’s intended school for the next school year. An RSVP submission must be completed for EACH child for whom you have custody.
*The RSVP process can only be completed if the division has made the system available (typically turned on by the beginning of March of each school year).
- Login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal: https://ecssd.powerschool.com/public
(if you don't already have a parent portal account, please follow the steps on this page) - Click the name of the first child for whom you have custody.
- Click the RSVP link that will appear in the list of menu items on the left side of the page.
- The first page containing Student Information will load. Please verify that all information on the page is correct. If anything needs to be updated (including the next year school), please fill in the appropriate field. Once all updates have been entered, click the Approve Student Info button at the bottom of the page.
- The system will advance you to the next page. Approve each page in succession as you verify or update the information. A green check mark will appear next to approved pages.
- The final page is a summary of all student information and highlights the updates that were made to each page. Each section can be expanded to view the changes (if needed).
- Enter your First and Last name into the Signature Name field.
- Click Approve Changes. You will see a confirmation message at the top of the page.
