How to use and/or customized shortcut keys in OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition. There are three major options.

default short cut keys

Press the F11 key, then type a Question Mark. This will open the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog. It lists all the default AccuDraw short cut keys in OpenRoads Designer. The tool bar at the top of the dialog can be used to create custom shortcut keys. Watch the following YouTube video for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSgREip1sXE

Next, go to the Ribbon category. Set the Position-Mapped Groups drop down to Menu.

Click OK at the bottom of the dialog. Now, each tool group in each ribbon is mapped to a keyboard key. The assigned key is shown in the tool group name.

When the assigned key is pressed, the tool group menu appears at the tip of the mouse cursor. Each tool in the menu is also mapped to a keyboard key. The tool can either be selected from the menu with the mouse cursor or by pressing the next assigned key. For example, to activate the Construct Circular Fillet tool, type R61.
