NEW!! Booking Approvals

Release Feature: 21st of February 2023

🎉 What's new?

This latest feature update will give you more flexibility in how you request and manage booking approvals from your customer, making it faster for your team and easier for your customers.

There is little change to your Customer's experience.

Before, you could only confirm and request approval at one point in the process, which made the process slow and inefficient.

Now, you can request approval from your customer and confirm a booking at any point.

Here's what you can expect from "Booking Approvals":

  • Gather approval from customers on new bookings coming from suppliers or agents at origin

  • Gather approval for bookings without spot quotes or transit options for repeat bookings and customers with established quotes

  • Gather approval if booking updates require review

  • Confirm bookings without requiring approvals for longstanding customer relationships

👀 How it looks on your side

Names of statuses have been changed:

  • Confirmed (no change)

You can now request approval of the booking at any point of time even if no options are added. This includes:

  • When reviewing a new booking for the first time

  • When they have made edits to shipment details or cargo details at any point in time

  • When they have added options

Your customer will be notified and can approve the booking.
