Viewing Courses in PowerSchool

Courses in PowerSchool determine what class sections you are able to create at your school. These courses are created and assigned to your school from the district, and you are not able to create courses yourself. If you need new courses to be created or made available at your school, please put in a ticket.

How can I check what courses are available at my school?


Option 1:

  1. Login to the PowerSchool admin portal: https://ecssd.powerschool.com/admin
  2. Select the school and school year you wish to check in the top right of your screen.
  3. On the left of your screen, select School Management.
  4. Navigate to the 'School Management' heading, and then select 'Courses'
  5. In the window that opens, you should see a list of the courses at your school. You can filter that list of courses by name, course number, or active status in the section labelled 'Filter' at the top of your screen.

Option 2:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 in Option 1.
  2. Scroll down to the 'Courses and Programs' heading, and select 'Course Sections'.
  3. You should have a list on the left hand side of your screen that shows all the courses listed at your school.

You must have Author or Collection Owner permission to create Guru Cards. Contact your team's Guru admins to use this template.
