Client/Device Settings in Meditech webExpanse

If this is the first time Meditech webExpanse is used on a particular device, you will need to set the client/device setting.

When you first sign in to Meditech the following screen may pop-up.

Enter the name of your computer in the Client Field. Note, this is a free text field. For DRH Health computers enter the PC Name (found in the upper right corner of your computer). For other computers enter free text to describe your computer. Examples: "Vendor Kode Health Laptop" or "Provider RadPartners Desktop"

Click the Save button to save the entry.

If this screen does not pop-up, you can follow the instructions below to check to ensure that the Client field is set.

Click the More button in the upper left of the Meditech webExpanse screen and choose Utilities.

Choose "Client Settings" from the "Utilities" menu. Note, outside the DRH Network, the "Client Settings" option may not be available if the Client field has already been set.

If this setting has not been set the screen will pop-up to complete the Client field. Please follow the instructions at the beginning of this Guru Card to set the Client field.

If this setting has been previously set, you will be presented with a screen showing the Client/Device name as previously entered.
