Guidelines for Branded Merchandise

If you are interested in creating branded merchandise including apparel, bags, gifts items, swag, etc. featuring the university or college names and/or logos, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All merchandise must be purchased through an existing university vendor partner to ensure that pieces are manufactured by approved vendors adhering to our university mission and commitment sustainability and ethically minded fair labor practices.
  • Anyone looking to design merchandise with the university name should refer to our brand guidelines. These guidelines provide a baseline of our standards with the purpose of ensuring continuity in the university look and feel, and should be reviewed when creating merchandise. If you have any questions on how this applies to merchandise, please feel free to contact The New Store directly.
  • Student Groups are encouraged to use their own custom logo for promotional merchandise, without the incorporation of the official university logo. If using the official university logo, please refer to the brand guidelines.
  • Merchandise that does not adhere to brand guidelines or include the university logo will need to be reviewed and approved by the merchandising team to ensure alignment with the university values. Artwork can be submitted for review via the following link.
