CargoWise Shipment Notes In Logixboard

The new Cargowise Shipment Notes feature in Logixboard will let your clients see shipment-related comments created with Cargowise client visible job notes directly on Logixboard!
In other words, we are importing and displaying the notes your operators enter on CargoWise directly to Logixboard so your customers can see it there.

👀 How it looks
Notes in Shipment Details Page
Your customers can now see a "Notes" tab in the sidebar below Documents in the Shipment Details page.
When a user clicks on that tab it will display the route details plus any client-visible job notes you have added for that particular shipment in CargoWise. The notes card will have the following info:
Note Description: Job Notes
Date/time the note was last imported/updated
Note content
When a note has been added or updated, you will see a notification with a red dot stating "New Note" or "Last Updated"
If there is no note associated to the shipment, when clicking the "Notes" tab you will just see the note description (”Job Notes”) and below that it will say “No Job Notes.”
There will also be a button in the notes tab that tells the user to send a message if they have any questions. Clicking on that button will open the In-app communication chat window.
Import existing notes
We will be importing existing client-visible job notes created or edited after January 18th, 2023.
If a client-visible note was created before January 18th, 2023 and has not been edited since, it will not be displayed in Logixboard.

Any Logixboard user who has access to the shipment will be able to see these notes for that shipment. Anonymous/logged out users will not be able to see notes.What happens when the content of a note is edited in Cargowise? Will we get the updated note? Yes, if a note is updated in Cargowise the existing note's content will get updated in Logixboard as well. You will not be able to see the previous.How soon after a note is added or edited will we see the note in Logixboard?
As soon as a note is added or edited, an event is triggered in CargoWise and we should have the note within a few minutes in most cases.When we bring on new clients and backfill their data, will notes be included in the backfill then?
Any shipment backfill will have note data that will get included with the rest of the shipment data.Does this feature only refer to s-files but not b-files?
In Logixboard we only import s-file notes, even though in CargoWise notes are available for b-files.
