What prices get published on a Distribution Channel?
Prices published through a distribution channel are fully configurable allowing you to tailor the liquidity provision distributed to different sets of clients.
We can stream to clients and venues any combination of:
• Your existing pricing
• Aggregated liquidity
• Compass's own bespoke pricing
What gets published is a combination of the distribution workflow type and the distribution's price selector. i.e. whether the Core "Internalisation Market" client price model is published or the "Pool" price, this is set in the channel explorer:
The distributed price then has a number of parameters and protections applied on top of the chosen distributed model.
This allows you to tailor liquidity reduction, markup and wide spread suppression by subset of clients without impacting the underlying pricing model.
You are able to monitor the difference between the constructed order books through the process JMX pages.
