Advanced Search
Welcome to the GoRev Advanced Search Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of performing an Advanced Search for a Patient’s account in GoRev.
1 : Beginning an Advanced Search
In the event that you have difficulty locating a Patient that has been previously entered into the GoRev system, you can perform an Advanced Search for the Patient’s account in one of four ways:
An Advanced Search for a Patient may be performed during the creation of a New Visit by clicking on the “Advanced Search” button located in the Demographics area of the Patient Information window.
An Advanced Search for a Patient may be performed while completing a Stat Check In for the Patient by clicking on the “Advanced Search” button present in the Demographics area of the Patient Information window.
An Advanced Search for a Patient may be performed while Creating an Appointment for the Patient by clicking on the “Advanced Search” link present in the Patient Names area of the New Appointment window.
An Advanced Search for a patient can be performed while searching for a patient on the GoRev Home Screen by clicking on the Advanced Search button present in the top right corner of the Patient Search section.
Note: An Advanced Search for a Patient searches for the Patient in all of the Facilities in your Server.
2 : Entering Visit Details
After clicking on an “Advanced Search” button in GoRev, the Advanced Search window will appear on your device. To continue, please enter any Patient Information from a Previous Encounter that you have into the Visit Details section of this window.
3 : Entering Patient Demographic Information
Next, please enter any Patient Demographic Information that you have into the Patient section of the Advanced Search window.
4 : Entering Guarantor Demographic Information
Now, please enter any Guarantor Demographic Information that you have into the Guarantor area of this window.
5 : Entering Other Patient Information
Next, if applicable, please enter the appropriate Phone Number, ICN, Address, and Email Address into the corresponding fields present in the Other Fields section of this window.
6 : Clearing Entered Information
In the event that you would like to remove all of the information in a particular section of the Advanced Search window, please click on the “Clear” button in the corresponding section of this window.
7 : Performing the Advanced Search
Once you are satisfied with the entered information, click on the “Search” button present on your screen.
8 : Selecting the Correct Patient Account
After the Search Results become visible, please select the correct Patient Account from the list on your device.
If you would like to further narrow your Search Results, please use the “Search” field in this window to decrease the number of results returned.
9 : Finishing the Advanced Search
Once you have selected the correct Patient Account, please finish the Advanced Search process by clicking on the “Use Selected” button present on your screen.
At this point, the Patient Account information will be auto-filled into the appropriate fields on your screen.
