CHANGE

  • Added a registry setting (FollowUpDisableFromPatientOverview) that allows for removal of the follow up fields when setting follow up from Patient Overview's comment section. Related to ticket 26033 - Requesting to remove the workflow status and follow up date from the “leave a comment” pop up on pt overview.

  • Added a new system Follow Up status (Follow Up Complete) that removes items from the follow up queue that are completely finished with the follow up process but still show for various reasons.

  • Added a queue statement bulk action to the Reporting Module that can be made available via the BulkQueueStatement permission level.

BUG FIX

  • Fixed a bug with advanced search on the Edit Appointment form. Patients from other facilities will now load correctly as new patients.

  • Fixed a race condition in automated outbound HL7 event queuing that can occur when the interfaces are being rebuilt in their daily maintenance routine.

  • Locum information now loads correctly on patient overview. Related to ticket #24944 - the info entered in the Substitue/locum tenens field under visit section is not saving/ will auto populate with previous account's info. Worked with user and Beth on a screen connect watched user and also tried under our info and stillo the same. Pulled the debug logs. waited on most recent update and it did not fix the issue

  • Fixed an issue with the master country list data source on the venture service. This will allow users to enter int'l addresses without working around validation issues.

  • Show on New Visit worksheets that are related to advertising will now show if the patient does not have a contact record (is a new patient being stat checked in) and the default communication preferences include advertising by email.

  • Validation is no longer blocking users from adding Coding Statuses to lookup tables.

  • The Claim Attachments section of Carrier Management now loads existing attachments correctly.

  • The follow up module now completely rebuilds all indexes in maintenance instead of re-using existing objects. This will clean up any dupes each time maintenance processes.

  • Fixed a few scaling issues related to the Show More button on the edit physician popup of the Physician Directory admin screen.

Feature

Add functionality to handle clinical trial numbers by charge master code. For professional claims, populate this field into Loop 2300 REF02(REF01=P4). For institutional claims, need to add value code D4 and the clinical trial number as the value

You can now attach a clinical trial number to a specific charge master item and the system will place the appropriate values onto your claim per CMS guidelines that can be read here:
