Five9 Softphone Initial Installation
For BOS to take calls using Five9, they must have Five9 Softphone installed correctly. Please follow the steps below.
Log into Five9 Agent
Once you enter your station ID and click "next," if the softphone isn't already installed it will prompt you to install. Click "Download and Install Five9 Softphone.
Click the bottom of the page where the softphone downloaded to complete installation.
Download will complete. Click "Finish"
Five9 Softphone Uninstall and Reinstall to Repair
Sometimes the Five9 Softphone will load conflicting versions or will have an error where it will not allow the user to download it or it will be causing significant audio errors or call drops. In these cases, it is best to uninstall and reinstall the application using the following steps.
1. Open Apps & Features and confirm the version of the Five9 Softphone installed (currently 13.0.9)
2. If it is any other version beside the current version or if BOS is getting an error saying the softphone is already installed, uninstall by clicking the Five9 Softphone in the list and uninstalling.
3. Log out and back into Five9 and when logging back in, reinstall the softphone following the instructions above.
