💡 What Is This Feature?

We know that containers and container fractions are very important for your clients moving FCL.

This new and very requested feature release will be visible in the "Analytics" page of the platform and will give you and your customers visibility into TEUs.

  • What does TEU stand for?
    Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit

  • Why is volume not relevant for Ocean FCL?
    When a shipper pays for a container, they pay the same price whether they fill it fully or just place a single pallet inside. Their goal is to pack as much into a container as possible, within weight limits, to maximize value.

  • What changed for the 'Ocean FCL' card?
    Users will still see 'Total Shipments' and 'Total Weight'. 'Total Volume' has been replaced with 'Total TEU' count.

  • What changed for the 'Top Routes' card?
    A new 'Total TEU (FCL Only) drop-down menu option has been added. When this option is selected, all other modes will be removed from the selection list. Only Ocean FCL shipments will be shown.
    The aggregate total in the Ocean FCL line should display the total TEU and not the total volume as shown under 'Total TEU' within the 'Ocean FCL' card.

  • What .changed for the 'Trade Lane by Metric' card?
    A new 'Total TEU' column has been added. This column will only be populated for rows where the Container Mode equals FCL. For any row Container Mode is not equal to FCL, the total value will show.
