Once potential residents have toured your home, they are able to apply online. The screening will be done for
- Credit History. It is more than just a score, but habits of payment
- Criminal Background. In Seattle, we won’t check this by law
- Rental History
- Income Verification
- Past Landlord Testimony review
Residents who apply for your property will be reviewed by our team first, then we will present the applicants with a description of the credit information to you for review and discussion. Because of the law requirement, we cannot share the detailed credit report or application with you. However, we will share the highlights of the credit situation, how many people will live there and pets, and any concerns that we have found.
Because of the Fair Housing Law, we have listed the criteria we use to approve an application. This is based on more than 10 years of screening tenants and managing properties.
We will send the final application recommendation to you. If you have a question, please respond within 24 hours. If we don't hear back any concerns, we will proceed with our recommendation.
