How to view an asset in Asset Tiger
- Login to Asset Tiger using your assigned username and password.
- From the main dashboard page, go to the left-hand panel and click on Asset, and then click on list of assets. You may also click on list of assets at the top of the page.
- On this page you should be able to view all the assets within the database.
- You can toggle the amount of assets viewable per page.
- You can export this page to an Excel file.
- Using the search criteria button, you can set the search criteria for specific assets that you would like to view.
- You can set various filters to complete your search by key word, site, location, category, status, and additional fields if necessary. For Example:
- Let's say we are looking for a Title I Chromebook at Catholic East Bartlett.
- We should select our site as Catholic East Bartlett,
- Select TI as the location,
- Select technology as your category, Chromebook as your subcategory, and MPS as your department.
- Then click search assets to complete your search.
- You should now be viewing the list of assets according to your criteria.
- Simply scroll through the list of assets to find the asset tag of the desired asset.
- Once you have located the asset, select it and click view.
- You'll be taken to the asset view page where you can review all the relevant details associated with this asset.
- Some of the details include, the status, the funding, serial number, and MPS i.d. and more.
- You can also choose to toggle across additional tabs along the bottom.
- If an event is ever performed on an asset such as a check out, that event will be recorded in the events tab.
- Depending on permissions, users may add photos, documents, and even warranty information for a specific asset.
- Multiple assets can be linked together in the linking tab, assets can be placed in maintenance in the maintenance tab.
- An asset can be reserved.
- If an audit is ever performed on an asset, all audit information will be kept in the audit section.
- And lastly, a log of all changes or edits made to an asset can be reviewed in the history tab.
- To return to the list of assets, return to the left-hand panel and select list of assets.
- You should now be able to view an asset in Asset Tiger.
