a. Select the required report from the Report dropdown.
b. Select a view from the Saved View dropdown.
c. Select Details Table as the Table Type
d. Enter the title of the table tile into the Title field. This will default to the name of the Saved View, but can be updated if needed.
Any time the Saved View is changed, the Title is populated with the same name of the selected Saved View.
e. Choose whether or not to include a link to the underlying report by using the Include link to report? toggle.
f. Choose the required frequency of data update whether to display a still Snapshot, Refresh on Update, or Live View from Data Display Settings.
g. Click Add. The table is generated within the story, reflecting the format of the summary table in the selected Saved View.
Known Limitations
1. The maximum number of columns allowed in a Saved View is 15. If the saved view you are trying to embed into a Story has more than 15 columns then the Add a Report Table dialog will disable the Add button and display Max. column limit reached error message.
2. A maximum of 15 tables (Summary + Details) can be embedded in a single Story. When the maximum limit of 15 tables is reached, the Report Table tile is disabled and a message is presented above the tile informing users of the maximum limit reached.
3. When a Details table is embedded in a Story, a maximum of 150 rows are displayed. If you need more than 150 rows, you can embed the details table as an iframe.
