Overview of rate comparison page

Guru_external_documentation_image.png

Objectives:

Get an overview of the rate comparison page in AllPay, which shows an employee's rate or salary compared with others in the same set of cost centers. This page can help determine appropriate and fair compensation for groups of employees, and it pulls from all historical rate and salary data that is in AllPay. You can examine the data as a graph and as a table. You can export the data in formats such as a CSV, PNG, or a PDF if you want to examine it further.

What's in this article?

An introduction of the charts and downloadable options on the Rate Comparison page.

💡Good to know: Because rate data is highly sensitive and underlies employee pay, the Rate Comparison page is not available to all AllPay users. There is a fail-safe in place to make sure that all non-admin AllPay users are explicitly denied rights to seeing this new page. (An admin is any user that has rights to alter other or their own AllPay user security profile.)

To grant rights to one or more users, make sure the Rate Comparison page is available to the user's role and use the User Management page to revert users to role default rights. You can also edit an individual user and check the box for Allow View on the Rate Comparison page.
