Enable the cancellation survey

If you would like to enable the cancellation survey follow these steps:

  1. Go to the churn survey in the configuration section in the console

  2. Toggle the option for the churn survey Screenshot 2021-03-10 at 17.26.46.png

  3. Enter a survey ID

  4. Enter the answer options. The answer key is used to make the data comparable if you want to slightly alter the answer option.

  5. Enter the answer

  6. Translate the answers if necessary

  7. Click on save

  8. Inform support@magine.com that you have enabled the survey. Include the following information:

    1. The copy for your question in all supported languages

We will then make sure that the questions show up in the cancellation box and we will also turn on the data export.

Editing the survey

When the survey is live you can change the questions any time. We suggest that you change the survey ID when an answer option is added, removed, or significantly changed.

This will make it easier to compare results. Here is an example:

  • you have option A and option B until 31/4

  • on 1/5 you remove Option B but add Option C

If you then compare which of the alternatives were selected the most, it will be misleading to compare all three options to each other since the user was never presented with all three options at the same time.
