WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Partner Type & Deals
- Referral/Co Sell but essentially direct on Go1 Paper
- Premium Essentials and Pro
- Essentials Select will be available for sale in April 2025
- Revenue share: None (0%)
- Is there any nuance to this partner type?
- Note that a Workday AE is not compensated in any way to work with Go1 (or any Learning partner)
- We do not have immediate and clear access to Workday AEs for all deals - we can request their contact details if we feel that this will assist in the pursuit.
- There is no specific integration fee for a Workday customer anymore - we previously had this for the Workday Studio integration. Since uplift to Cloud Connect Learning we have removed this fee.
Partner Customer Segments
- Workday Customer Demographics: ENTERPRISE and the upper end of MID MARKET
- Many customers have workforces over 100K employees.
- Workday has been sold in over 100 countries.
- Their teams are somewhat broken into verticals:

Integration
- Integrations built:
- Cloud Connect Learning Integration (Workday Built): ‘off the shelf’ product that is available to all customers who have (purchased from Workday) a Cloud Connect subscription.
- The only requirements to implement the integration is entering OAUTH client credentials of their Go1 portal and any additional mapping they wish to include (mapping of Go1 topics and languages to specific Workday Tags in their Workday tenant, see below rows).
- Integration type: Off the shelf (Connected via Cloud Connect)
- How does the integration work?
- Demo videos:
- Luke Webster Demo
- Ric Fry Demo - includes Go1 AI and curation pre-Workday sync.
- The CCL integration enables customers to run a single initial import to ingest all the content into their ‘My Library’ collection, then will automatically resync for any changes that have occurred once every 24 hours.
- In addition a ‘Full Sync' function is available to reset the Workday collection, if for any reason the two catalogues have become out of sync.
- There is no limitation on the number of courses that can be synced and batching is not required at any stage of the integration.
- Recent sales call with Thomas Wythe showcasing existing integration and discussion about upcoming changes HERE
- What expectations should be set pre-sale and post-sale?
- Customer must purchase Cloud Connect module from their Workday Rep
- Go1 is the content expert and will support in getting our integration with Workday live
- Workday is the Workday Learning expert and the customer can leverage their Workday rep for training here
- Demo environment:
- This is now available and will be deployed to dedicated ENT AE's in coming weeks (March-April 2025)
- What's coming?
- PSS – Workday's version of open API, allowing us to better define user experience which was co-designed in Partnership with Go1 meaning we will have a distinct advantage when building to this. Available August 2025, no impact to existing CCL customers.
- Skills Cloud – skills driven human capital management including learning and talent evolution. This is currently in progress, mapping Go1 content to the Workday skills taxonomy. Available September 2025.
